Regional Collegiate Championships at William Cary University

May 2nd thru May 4th was our Regional Collegiate Championships at William Cary University in Hattiesburg, MS.

UM Archery had two first time winners as Hayden Bradley and Jake Kreft walked away with gold medal victories. Hayden shot a close match but was able to win by 4 points in the final round of the open compound class with teammate, Alex Anderson finishing 4th.

In the male pins class, Jake Kreft won the gold medal match defeating teammate, Grant Schnopp in the final round with Schnopp finishing 2nd and Hunter Stevens who led after qualifying rounds finished up in 4th. Stevens and Kreft were also named All Region with their combined scores from Indoor Regionals back in February .
Hadley Spreng took gold and the first place spot followed by Hailey Murphy in 2nd as the two shot head to head in the finals. Spreng also received an All Region award.

Brie Cassani brought home the bronze medal in Women's Barebow. Cassani also received an All Region Award

Lexi Everett finished in 4th place. It was a great showing for each of our athletes as they have worked very hard these past few months for this.
